This week's unique workshop will have you recreate an 18th century style silhouette self-portrait. We'll project your shadow onto the pottery of your choice and guide you through painting your self-portrait. We'll also show you how to paint with additional "antique" background and border stylings.

Watch the regional premiere performance of The Blue Room!
|
This month we'll enjoy the premiere performance of The Blue Room at The Hangar Theatre, and after the show we'll schmooze with the artistic team at a wine and cheese reception while paintinng a ceramic theatre mask and mounting tile with wooden frame.
Daring, dramatic, and highly theatrical, The Blue Room explores the treacherous disparity between longing and love, passion and intimacy. In a sequence of vignettes, two actors play ten couples, linked one to the other by the most universal of human desires. This play contains adult themes.
Cost is $40 + tax per person which includes...

Please arrive at The Hangar Theatre a little after 7 pm to meet with the other girls and find our seating for the performance. The show is about 90 minutes long, and we'll have time after the show to paint and talk with the artistic team. If you are not able to finish all of your pottery painting, you may come into the studio in Downtown Ithaca anytime and finish at no additional charge.

The Dynamic Patterns Pottery Studio wants you to spend springtime with the girls!

We will be painting our very own herb garden planter and learning all about container gardening at home with a hands-on workshop by Master Gardener Suzanne Hoback.
Cost is $32 + tax per person which includes your pottery, studio fee for the night, painting technique class, and the herb gardening workshop and seeds.

The painting technique class begins at 7 pm, but we will be happy to start for you whenever you arrive. The complimentary entertainment/program will begin at 8 pm and we will stay open as late as 10 pm to give you plenty of time to relax, paint, and just visit with the girls. All painting projects are designed to take an hour or less.
